Commercial artificial greenery installation
Installation guides
Practical guidance for preparing, fixing and assembling large artificial trees, outdoor artificial palms and artificial green walls for commercial projects.
Prepare the site with confidence
Six checks before your artificial greenery arrives
Early confirmation of access, dimensions, surfaces and equipment helps commercial artificial tree and plant installation proceed safely and efficiently.
Site access
Check doors, lifts, stairs, loading routes and any lifting restrictions before dispatch.
Final dimensions
Confirm ceiling height, clearances, canopy width and the final installation zone.
Surface condition
Review the floor, wall, planter or foundation that will receive the installation.
Fixing method
Confirm the base, anchor, wall fixing or other project-specific connection method.
Working space
Allow room for trunk lifting, branch fitting, canopy opening and final shaping.
Labour & equipment
Arrange qualified installers and suitable access, lifting and fixing equipment.
Installation guides by product system
Start with the greenery system specified for your project
Each route brings together the relevant site preparation, fixing method, assembly sequence and final inspection considerations.

From foundation preparation to the finished canopy
This field sequence shows the principal stages used to coordinate a large outdoor artificial palm tree installation. Final foundation and fixing requirements remain specific to the tree configuration and site conditions.
Site review & positioning
Confirm the position, access route, working area, lifting clearance and foundation location before site work begins.

Foundation & base preparation
Prepare the reinforced concrete foundation, embedded anchors and base plate interface according to the approved project details.

Components prepared on site
Unpack, inspect and organise the palm components. Keep fronds and connection parts protected and easy to identify.

Trunk lifting & positioning
Lift the trunk with suitable equipment, guide it into position and align the steel base plate with the embedded anchors.

Base plate fixing & alignment
Position the base plate, install washers and nuts, check trunk verticality and complete the specified tightening sequence.

High-level installation access
Use suitable access equipment to reach the crown and complete high-level component installation under the site contractor’s approved working procedure.

Final inspection
Review the finished canopy, trunk alignment, visible connections and installation area before handover.

How the structural system works
How the structural connection is coordinated
For applicable palm configurations, the trunk structure, connection, base plate, anchors and foundation are coordinated as one fixing system. Final requirements depend on the selected product, site conditions and local engineering review.
Request structural information ↗Load transfer
Where used, the internal steel structure transfers loads through the connection system.
Welded interface
The specified connection links the trunk structure to the base plate.
Force distribution
The steel plate transfers forces across the anchor arrangement.
Mechanical fixing
Anchor bolts, washers and nuts secure and align the assembly.
Reinforced support
Foundation requirements are determined for the selected configuration and site.
Local verification
Final requirements must be checked for the installation site.

What project teams ask before installation
Answers may vary by product size, structure, fixing method and site conditions.
01Does Oakco provide installation support?+
Oakco can provide remote guidance and, for selected projects, on-site support by arrangement.
02Are installation drawings available?+
Available drawings depend on the product and project scope. Submit the selected model and site information for review.
03How are large artificial trees delivered?+
Large trees may be supplied in protected, labelled sections where the product configuration requires on-site assembly.
04Can the base plate be customised?+
Base dimensions, fixing positions and concealment requirements can be reviewed for applicable custom projects.
05What site information is required?+
Plans, final dimensions, access routes, ground or substrate details, exposure conditions and lifting restrictions are useful.
06Who approves the final structural fixing?+
The appointed contractor or qualified local professional is responsible for final foundation, structural and fixing approval.
