A hospitality space in Busan, South Korea, wanted to create a unique tropical atmosphere that could enhance the guest experience while matching the architectural design of the venue.
For this project, Oakco developed and delivered customized artificial palm trees based on the original design concept. Instead of using standard artificial plants, the project required a bespoke solution that considered the space scale, visual balance, structural requirements, and final installation effect.
From early concept development and design refinement to factory manufacturing, international delivery and installation support, Oakco worked closely with the project requirements to transform a design vision into a completed tropical environment.

Concept
Transforming A Design Vision Into A Real Landscape Experience
Every bespoke artificial tree project begins with understanding the original vision behind the space.
For the Lumiterra Cafe project in Busan, the goal was to create a tropical landscape feature that could become an important part of the hospitality environment. The artificial palm trees needed to work naturally with the surrounding architecture while creating an immersive experience for visitors.
At the beginning of the project, Oakco studied the design concept, spatial requirements and expected visual effect. Through 3D visualization and concept discussion, the team evaluated the tree proportions, placement and overall appearance to ensure the final installation could achieve the intended atmosphere.
The concept stage was not only about selecting an artificial palm tree style. It was about understanding how each tree would interact with the entire space and how the final landscape would be experienced by guests.

Development
Turning The Concept Into A Custom Artificial Palm Tree Solution
After the concept direction was confirmed, Oakco moved into the development stage, where the initial design idea was transformed into a practical production solution.
Unlike standard artificial plants, commercial-scale artificial trees require careful consideration of structure, proportion and installation requirements. The development process focused on creating a realistic appearance while ensuring the trees could be manufactured, transported and installed efficiently.
Oakco refined the overall tree shape, canopy structure and material approach according to the project requirements. The relationship between tree height, branch direction and surrounding environment was carefully considered to achieve a natural tropical appearance.
During this stage, every detail was reviewed before production began. The goal was to make sure the final artificial palm trees were not only visually realistic but also suitable for a large-scale hospitality project.
Manufacture
Bringing The Design To Life Through Oakco Craftsmanship
Once the development stage was completed, the project entered Oakco's manufacturing process.
Creating large custom artificial trees requires a combination of structural engineering and skilled craftsmanship. At Oakco's factory, the approved concept was transformed into full-scale artificial palm trees through detailed production procedures.
The manufacturing process involved creating the internal structure, developing the trunk appearance, applying artificial foliage and completing quality inspections before shipment.
Each component was carefully produced to ensure consistency with the original design direction. The realistic appearance of a commercial artificial tree depends on many small details, including trunk texture, foliage arrangement and overall tree balance.
Through careful manufacturing control, Oakco ensured that the final products maintained both visual quality and structural reliability for the hospitality environment.

Delivery & Installation
Bringing The Concept Into Reality At The Project Site
After production was completed, the artificial palm trees were carefully prepared for international delivery and final installation.
For large bespoke artificial trees, the installation stage is an important part of achieving the final visual result. Even with accurate factory production, the final appearance depends on correct assembly, branch positioning and canopy adjustment according to the actual site conditions.
Oakco supported the installation process by providing technical guidance and assisting with the final adjustments. The team focused on ensuring the tree structures were correctly assembled and the palm canopies achieved a natural appearance that matched the original design concept.
Through close cooperation between Oakco and the project team, the artificial palm trees were successfully integrated into the finished hospitality environment.

Project Result
From An Initial Concept To A Completed Hospitality Experience
The Lumiterra Cafe project demonstrates Oakco's approach to bespoke artificial tree solutions.
From the first concept discussion to development, manufacturing and final installation support, Oakco worked as a project partner throughout the entire process.
By combining design understanding, manufacturing capability and project experience, Oakco helped transform an initial tropical landscape concept into a completed commercial environment.
This project represents more than the delivery of artificial palm trees. It shows how a carefully planned design idea can become a realistic and immersive space that enhances the guest experience.
